Brief Bios of Danaher Personnel

Ed Malloy
Broker


The President of Danaher Oil Company and also Mayor of the City of Fairfield, elected in 2001. His hometown is Glen Cove, NY but moved to Fairfield, Iowa in 1980. He resides in Fairfield with his wife Vicki. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Kelly and a son, Justin. He enjoys outdoor recreation, community service and politics.
Ed graduated from Ricker College in 1974 with a B.A. in Psychology and for a short time worked as an Admissions Representative. Ed partnered several small businesses between 1977 and 1982. In 1983 he worked for a short time as a sales representative in Fairfield for the RussBerry Corp. In July of 1983, Ed joined Danaher Oil and started the crude oil division, in 1984 he moved to refined products. Ed was appointed President and a partner of Danaher Oil in 1994.

 

Ken Malloy
Broker


With over 19 years experience at Danaher Oil Company, Ken joined the Danaher Team in 1986. He also serves as a Board member of the Fairfield Convention and Visitors Bureau. Ken attended two colleges in New York before moving to Fairfield, Iowa. The New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury and The State University of New York.
He is one of eight children raised in Long Island, NY. Ken is married to Jessica and has 3 children Shea, Finnegan and Ronan. Kens interests are in the community around him, he coaches a Tee ball team, is involved with the Knights of Columbus, enjoys playing golf, fine wine, grilling out with friends and cheering for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.

 

Andrew Josephs
Broker

Although Andy’s hometown is the Bronx, New York, Iowa has been his home since 1979. Andy attended school in Massachusetts, New York and Iowa with a focus in business and mass communications. Andy has extensive experience in event promotion, has worked as a marketing consultant for small businesses and also as a non-profit fundraiser. He began working at Danaher in 1995.
Andy’s interests include community-building, world affairs, holistic health and traveling. He has been to Australia, India, France, Ireland, and extensively to Scotland.

 

Jason Titze
Account Executive/Broker

Jason was raised in Iowa City, Iowa and moved to Fairfield in 2005. He served a two year mission for his church after which he completed his degree at the University of Iowa in Spanish and International Business. After college he worked as a volunteer for the YFU organization and at a tax agency in southeast Iowa. He joined Danaher Oil Company early in 2005. He manages an apartment and a small parking business on the side.
Jason has a wife, Elizabeth, and a son, Andrew. His interests include playing tennis, watching ball games, home improvement projects and spending time with his family.

 

Michael Halley
Account Executive/Broker

Michael is the newest addition to the Danaher team, coming aboard in February of 2007. Originally from a small town in Ohio, he moved to Fairfield in 1993 to attend the local university, where he was an active student senator, president of an environmental organization, and listed in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." At the age of 20 he and his wife started their first business here in Fairfield, which is still thriving today.
Michael serves as the current president of Fairfield's Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors and is active in community volunteerism. He enjoys spending time with his two children - Lily and Skylar, playing basketball, competing in triathlons, and dabbling in local radio and theater.

 

Cheryl Rogers
Office Manager


Cheryl’s hometown is McNary, Arizona. She attended several colleges including Texas Woman’s University, Hardin-Simmons University and Northern Arizona University. She has over 13 years experience working for Danaher Oil Company.
Cheryl has been married to Jim Rogers for 40 years and is the mother of five sons: Doug, Darian, Chris, Dustin, and Casey. She has seven grand children. Cheryl loves to quilt, garden and cook.

 

Angie Pope
Administrative Assistant


After graduation from Fairfield High School, Angie attended Indian Hills Community College receiving a Business Management degree as well as an Associates degree. For the past 5 years she has worked for Danaher Oil Company.
Her parents Don and Rita live in town while her sister lives and works in Missouri. Her interests include shopping, reading, scrap booking, exercising, cooking and spending time with children.

 

Cora Lee Burns
Administrative Assistant


Cora Lee’s hometown is Richmond, Virginia. She has a husband, David, and a son, Steven, who is 14 years old. Cora Lee grew up in Richmond and attended college there. She came to Danaher in August of 2000.
Her interests include genealogy, landscaping and animal rescue.
